TIjs started his music career playing guitar in a hiphop / metal / crossover band. This band lasted for about one gig so he decided to take matters into his own hands.
Tijs had already been using tracker programs to produce beats but soon the electronics started to play a much more important role. Inspired by IDM and breakcore alongside postrock and avantgarde composers, he started to create a sound in which complicated harsh rythms can coexist with dreamlike atmospheres.
