Influenced early on by pretty much everything since picking up the guitar at age 11, he continues to explore the edge and listen to everything he can get his hands on. Born in Hamilton, Ohio and has resided in Philadelphia since 1985. He studied bebop & improvisation with jazz guitar legends Jimmy Bruno and Pat Martino.
He has performed and recorded with Jazzheads, Les Nubians, King Britt's Sylk 130, Kenny Lattimore, Patti LaBelle, Ursula Rucker, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, touring extensively the world over. He also performed on the award winning PBS documentary the Sound of Philadelphia. Production credits include Jazzheads, Ursula Rucker, Fractured Reverb Underground, Ellie Perez, Global Illage, and - along with DJ Jazzy Jeff - the Norwegian acid jazz group the Quadraphonics.
