Parry was a guitarist who's first band, Modern Jazz - formed in 1980, produced a single in that year entitled In My Sleep (I Shoot Sheep). They became
Blue Zoo and had a UK hit single in October 1982 called
Cry Boy Cry, which charted at No 13. It stayed on the UK Singles Chart's Top 40 for eight weeks. The group disbanded in 1985.
In 1986 Parry joined forces with record executive Jazz Summers and formed
Big Life Records. His involvement with this company also features on
Raw TV Products.
