Singer and songwriter Tina Dickow (Outside of Denmark she performs under the alias Tina Dico) was born on October 14, 1977 in Aarhus, (Denmark).
In 1998 she was part of the group "Fester Kester" and won two talent-contests the same year, with song written by her. Later in 1998 she formed the band "Tina Dickow and Sheriff" and released the single "Your Waste of Time".
In 2000 she started her own record label,
Finest Gramophone. The first release was her own album "Fuel" in 2001.
In 2002 Tina Dickow moved to England and thru her contract with Jonathan Morley got to do a collaboration with Holly Valance on the song "Send My Best" and here met Sam Hardaker from
Zero 7.
Zero 7 asked her to collaborate with them and they recorded "Home" and "The Space Between" which are featured on the album "When It Falls".
Her 2 album "Notes" was also written during her stay in England and in 2004 she released the EP "Far" with new versions of tracks from "Notes", "Fuel" and one new song. In June 2005 Tina Dickow released the album "In the Red" on her label
Finest Gramophone in cooperation with A:larm Music.
