I love this band !!... of course, this is a very personal statement, but my reasons are explained in the next paragraph:

Back in 96-97, at the time when I was beginning to inform myself about electronica as a serious matter, I stumbled upon Tipsy, a very cool band which mainly uses tropical mambo, calypso and jazzy sounds for his compositions. Hearing them, as well as seeing their psychedelic "60's-esque" visuals really helped me to appreciate the electronic music as a genre without creative boundaries.

I'm deeply grateful with Tipsy, and with many other bands like We™, Byzar and Rob Swift that were part of the Asphodel Records lineup.

P.S.1: highlights from this band include "Mr. Excitement", "Nude on the Moon" and "Space Golf"

P.S.2: if you are one of those lucky mortals that had the fortune to follow the MTV's AMP show during the late 96 and early 97, you'll surely agree with me, these guys rocked!
