He is the newcomer-live act when it comes to intelligent prime-time techno. Since February 2008 he is an integral part of the „Klangkino Gebesee” residents and maybe the most striking act out of their repertoire. Known as "The Mask" and popular for his innovative and pumping techno tracks, he is a guarantee for high spirits on the dance floor. As the name McWeird implies, his songs are characterized by variety, playful percussions, and heavy bass lines. In each of his songs you can hear his detail-mindedness and love for music. Anyone who thinks that Toubi McWeird is just a novice who accidently hit the taste of the masses is wrong, because he was already actively represented in the trance scene. There he was far from being a dark horse. He was well known for his breathtaking melodies and his sophisticated technique of production. Typical of a self-taught, he can quickly assimilate new skills and apply this knowledge broadly. So he taught himself to play the drums and significantly incorporates this ability into the creation of his beats.
