Reviews & Discussion

Review by Apeman Dec 31, 2008
If there ever was an award for most electic and diverse career in dance music, DJ Touche (Theo Keating) would get the award. Starting in the early 1990's with DJ Regal with Direct Current, and later the infamous Wiseguys (AKA the guy(s), who did Ooh La La and Start The Commotion), and also his solo career, plus his new projects Fake Blood and The Black Ghosts.

Through-out his career, he has done everything from Cut and Paste, Underground Rap, Trip-Hop, Big Beat, Funky Breaks, Filtered Disco, Electro House, Fidget, Tech-House and even Synth-Pop!!! He must have one of the most diverse music tastes on the planet, plus his skills as a DJ are Excellent! I hightly reccomend any of his mixes, from the Cheery Big Beat funk of B-Boy 2000, to the dark and moody Ultraviolet (Journeys by DJ) mix, plus his wacky Radio 1 Essential mix from 2004 is just mind-bending.

I also would like to thank Touche for opening my mind to all sorts of different types of music, that I might have not touched once!
