Know first that "Trance" does not refer to the electronic music genre here. Think of a more meditative definition. Other than some faint atmospherics, this band is entirely acoustic. Their style is something of an Aboriginal-Jazz hybrid. Blending traditional and modern instruments and styles is often cliche but Trance Mission's distinct, unique sound could never be called a 'gimmick'.Was the above review useful to you? (report)
