Reviews & Discussion

Review by rockomundom May 07, 2008
This album was released on vinyl and cassette only.
There were five videos created for the album: "Delta Sleep", "Come Back" (on MTV), "Shock of the New", "India", and "Red Car".

These videos are on YouTube, posted by Popgems, Dane Conover's studio moniker when recording with wife Marisa, who also did backing vocals on the Trees album.

The album is a bit unique in that it combined early ARP synth sounds with acoustic sources for a warmer sound than would be expected of that era's synthpop. It also
features a fair amount of vocoder sound-shaping, mostly with guitar lines.
Listen for the cat at the end of "Wildwood"...
