Vanessa Paradis

French vocalist & actress.
Born: 13.Dec 1972 in St. Maur-des-Fossés (F).

At the age of 14, Vanessa recorded the song "Joe le Taxi" (1986) which soon became a no.1 hit.
It was the beginning of a big career.
The first album is considered to be a masterpiece of French pop-music.
In 1986, Vanessa starred in her first movie and won the "Cesar" and "Romy Schneider" awards.
The lyrics of the 2nd album were written by Serge Gainsbourg.
In 1991, she signed an advertising contract with Chanel of over three million francs and became the official spokesmodel for Chanel's "Coco".
Jean-Paul Goude was the photographer of this advertising campaign.
Vanessa's next tour was quickly sold out, but a live album was released.
The 3rd album was written & produced by Lenny Kravitz.

Vanessa had two children with her boyfriend Johnny Depp - Hollywood Actor - and is currently living in the south of France.
