Real Name:Denise Matthews, Brenda Bennett, Susan Moonsey
Profile:Girl group put together by Prince in the early 1980s. Only released one album, and scored a dance club hit with "Nasty Girl."

Frontwoman Denise Matthews left the group to pursue a solo career just before filming began for Purple Rain, so her role in the film (as well as the single "Sex Shooter") were passed along to Apollonia and Apollonia 6 appeared in the film instead of her group.

Have to agree with user "vanity6" there: the demo version of Sex Shooter, although almost impossible to find as far as I know, schools the version Apollonia 6 recorded. Its long, darker, much more electro and funky, and has a call-and-response chant thing going on in the end: "New York!" "Uh huh?" "I want you to count to eight." "Eight!" "As soon as I get undressed yall clap your hands okay?" "Okay!" Shonuff funky goodness.
