Ved Buens Ende was created in Norway in 1994 with members: Aggressor (drums, vocals), Vicotnik (guitar) and Skoll (bass). Ved Buens Ende means 'At the End of the Rainbow' (referring to the mythological rainbow Bifröst, the path from earth to Asgaard). Same year they debuted with the demo "Those who Caress the Pale", but it didn't gain enough succes. In 1995 they released a full-length debut by the name "Written in Waters" which featured backing vocals done by Lill Katherine Stensrud. The band frequently toured with session vocalist
Simen Hestnæs, but at the end of 1995 the band broke up. But in 1997 their demo "Those who Caress the Pale" was re-leased by Misantropy's sublabel,
Ancient Lore Creations, as a limited edition CD. In 2000 Czral reanimated the spirit of Ved Buens Ende in his avant rock band
Virus (17).
