Vegetable Orchestra

The Vegetable Orchestra was founded February 1998 in Vienna. The Orchestra consists of ten musicians, one cook and one sound technician. It uses musical instruments made out of vegetables. Some are ready made, like the tomato. Some are altered and assembled especially, like their infamous carrot recorder. The Music represents an isomorphism of electronic music and structure of the sounds produced by the vegetables.

The Orchestra plays live regularly, just don't ask them if they are vegetarians!
