The story of Dutch Hardcore Deejay "The Viper" kicked off in 1988 when he bought his first set of turntables. In the beginning it was all about Hip Hop, New Jack Swing, the scratching and the skills, but after a while he discovered his true passion in playing house music. The tricks and the skills stayed, the music he played became harder and harder.
A new deejay was born, and because of his love for the car and the snake he called himself "The Viper". Success never comes easy, so he had to work his way up. The first years he started proving himself in the smaller clubs. After a while more and more people spotted his talent witch resulted in gigs at huge raves like "Thunderdome" and "Mysteryland". Pretty soon "The Viper" became one of the big names that pushed the hardcore scene forward. Not only inside, but also far out of the borders of Holland in countries like Spain, Switzerland,Italy and the U.S.A.
In the year '96 he started producing as well. His first record, called "The Beat", came out on the infamous "
Samurai Records". The Viper was able to take his production skills to the highest level and every new release became an instant party hit. Several successful collaborations followed with top Dutch hardcore deejays and producers such as
DJ Isaac (Freak That Shit, The Real Shit, Funky Beats, Trigga Finga etc),
G-Town Madness,
Mad-E-Fact (Control the party, The beatz the suckers wish they had etc) and
DJ Attic & Stylzz. Friendships were born and classics were made.
Still reinventing hardcore techno and still blasting his beats all over the world, the story of DJ The Viper continues...
