Widely underrated! Get the vinyl as some tracks work better at different rpm's. (actually, ALWAYS get the vinyl - you can always burn a cd later) Some gloomy slow beats turn into funky though mostly moody Detroit tracks when the tempo is set higher. Very varied tracks though only a few instruments and sounds are used. Every element is applied to full effect in true genius-style.
- Be the first in your little town to check it out!! Superb!
These records will only gain over time - i have no doubt. Mixes oldskool breakbeats, dark strings, scratchings, half-funny little piano melodies and much more in an immensely funky and un-artistic way. Like DJ Shadow on steroids (taking electro and breakbeats instead of slower hiphop as a basis) and that's really saying a lot! I'm nodding my head to the thumping beats all the time!- Yeah, life can be so great when you have some sublime records to spin! Ranks high amongst my all-time favourites! 10/10
