Von Thronstahl is a German multi-style project formed by Josef Klumb. The musical (and visual) styles incorporated in Von Thronstahl’s releases are martial, neofolk, industrial, punk rock, neoclassic, hard rock, ambient and more. The project is considered controversial due to Josef’s use of ideologically and religiously totalitarian imagery. Although the releases have been scrutinized by the German authorities, none have ever been banned for containing offensive (political) material.
