Wade Randolph Hampton

This guys been a mover and shaker somewhere back there since way back before you knew what was what. Name a place he hasn't lived.
One part scum bag disc jockey, one part promotion mastermind, one part care taker, and key master. Originated somewhere around Dallas back in that heady period of the early to mid 80s post disco pre hoose nation when things like ecstacy were still in legal limbo and available like and thus chomped on like candy. From there cities like LA and Chicago became early test sites for the halcyon days of the then just dawning american rave scene. Let's just say without wade hampton, The catalysts necessary to stir up the then nascient house/techno scenes and branch out from the disco into early acid house days of the frankies, ron hardies of gay black chicago chicago and into the northside with the now legendary loft parties, medusa's into the early chicago raves.
Wade eventually made some more moves into Madison, and onto San Francisco helping to bring some of the more intimate parties and experiences to the midwest with some of the first midwestern Full Moon parties ala Luna, and a management/handler engagement with the Hardkiss brothers in san francisco. As well as a shortlived label called Domestic recordings, started up in LA, and culminating in San Fran, with a record store called Faster Bamboo, and an appearance in that rave movie Groove.
These days rumour has it mr Hampton is residing in Utah.
