Wayne Kounty

Wayne Kounty is: a band consisting of Kenny Flav and company. The Detroit super-producer has come a long way from his Schoolcraft roots. Initially, he worked with Anthony "Shake" Shakir as a ghostwriter for techno god-fathers Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Roger Sanchez. Twelve house albums or so later, Kenny Flav decided to move to New York City and expand musically into the Hip-Hop/ R&B world. Since then, Flav has produced tracks for over seven platinum records, been nominated twice for Grammy's and worked with the likes of everyone from Mary J. Blige to Busta Rhymes. Currently,Flav is working on the debut Wayne Kounty album to be released in early 2004 through Premier Cru.
