Winterkälte

Real Name:
Eric de Vries, Udo Wiessmann
Profile:
A complex architecture of hypnotic sounds and rhythms in steady turns. Pounding beats define Winterkälte's unique style of abstract aggression, of which the main target is the whole central nervous system and all its neural connectors. Obliterating, generally pummelling non-stop rhythms melded with heavy electronics to result in a violent distorted and blurring circle of noise. Lace those stomper boots up tight and prepare yourself for the brutal rhythmic onslaught that is Winterkälte.

Reviews & Discussion

Review by Hardmageddon Sep 12, 2004 (edited over 7 years ago)
Simply awesome! This guys made Noisecore/Speedcorish stuff when nobody in the Industrial scene knew what Speedcore/Noisecore was all about. They are almost unkown in the Gabber scene, altough many Hardcore fans (just like me) love their work. in the Power Noise/Industrial scene, they are not very known too, but they are a complete reference. Their sound? abrasive... a LOT! probably one of the hardest acts ever - a great mixture of 909 gabber beats, with noise and industrial themes... in fact, they would be considered breakcore in some ways, noisecore in others, industrial in others... whatever. in the end it's music, good music, awesome music!
