German a cappella band, founded 1985 in Cologne as a student rockband (Wise Guys Band!). 1990 they called themself "Wise Guys".
The first members were Daniel Dickopf, Edzard Hüneke, Marc Sahr, Clemens Tewinkel and Christoph Tettinger (bass vocals).
1995: Christoph Tettinger left the band. The new bass singer became Ferenc Husta.
2009: Clemens Tewinkel left the band, Nils Olfert (tenor vocals) replaced him.
2010: Christoph Tettinger became the manager of the Wise Guys.
