Mpendulo, Apr 16, 2009 An artist with a new vision as well as contribution towards electronic music particularly in ambient and dub techno sub genres.
At this point, 3 albums doesnt account enough for someone to be reaching legendary status but goodness me...
It seems as if its all that it takes regarding Yagya. With the possibility of more to come in the future, then you have got yet another dub techno God.
Not a single bad tune on all three albums, tunes that compliment each other in no other way I have experienced with other albums.
His works are very closely related to the sound Moritz & Mark produced under Rhythm & Sound but less experimental and more substantial.
His astonishing productions on the netlabel, Sutemos are also worth a mention and are still within the boundaries of his earlier and hopefully, later productions.
Iceland does not have much electronic artists but if the country was an unknown to some electronic music followers in this regard, Yagya has certainly put them on the map.Was the above review useful to you? (report)
