Zippora is not just the name of the group but also the name of the singer: Zippora De Brauwer. This girl was born on July 28th 1977 and she has been doing a lot of things: ballet, backing vocals and dancing in clubs like Zillion.

In 2000, she started her own dance act Zippora. "4 Ever U" was made with the help of Eddy Weyns and Pieter-Jan Verachtert (known from D-Devils).

The breakthrough came with the next single "Lotus Eater", produced by Eddy Weyns and Philip Meers, one of the most famous DJ's and remixers in Belgium. "Lotus Eater" went straight to #1 in the official Belgian Ultratop dance charts.

The third single "What About U" (also by the hand of Eddy and Philip) was released in the first quarter of 2001.

After some silence, "See The Sun" was released in early 2002. The first vinyl contained a Sylver Remix and some acapella's next to the original versions. Soon a second vinyl was released containing Soho remixes, by producer Jaco Van Rijswijk.
