St Plomb's been djing since the early 90's, spinning funk, rare groove and hip-hop, at a time when he was also a drummer in several jazz-funk combos. Ten years later he starts producing electronic music and it's not long before he releases his tracks and remixes under various monickers and on various labels (Mental Groove, Viking Music, Novamute, B Rave, Tiny Sticks, Initial Cuts), among which some house or techno tunes have shaken the dancefloors around the world, such as "Shake a Leg", "A Bat In My Shoe", "Rather Be", or "18 Years" and "Today", both taken from the critically acclaimed album he wrote and produced with Crowdpleaser, "2006".
As a producer, a dj or in live performances, from SonàrSounds (Tôkyô) to Fabric (London), from Panorama Bar (Berlin) to the late Dachkantine (Zürich), St Plomb delivers a blend of soulful grooves, sweaty shuffles, deep house and warm techno. A faithful keeper of the funk.
