Sorry to break the mystic halo man but it's Rod "Deepchord" Modell and Steve "Soultek" Hitchnell. But yes, you are true, this Dimensional is simply: perfect & brilliant.
I try to manage to buy everything they release but I can't. Their Madrid show was really good except for the technical problems. Two thumbs up for Rod & Steve! The succesors of Basic Channel, Maurizio, Porter Ricks, Lyot and all the rest. Where the pure soul meets deep warm atmospheres.

Probably my favourite DeepChord's realease.
Especially "Dimensional" which is a 12 minutes journey through ambient, dub, minimal and techno experiences with a great structure, dreamy FX and, ofcourse, (very) deep chords.
The highlight is minute 6, when the beat starts again and the track releases all his emotional content.
All the synths and the echoes are in a peaceful harmony and the base is simply the perfect one for this track.
I recommend this to everyone.

Absolutely essential record for every Basic Channel's style lover.

Cv313 the biggest question, who is it? Rumours and rumours but not one real confirmation on who made such a brilliant record, holy lord! I'm not sure what to write here or how to write it, all i can say is if you like the maurizio catalog as much as i do (esp. m4, m4.5 or m7) or the mainstreet releases, quadrant on planet e this is one of the missing links to the puzzle. No joke, could be the best record i've heard in the past 10 years. I was one of the fortunate indviduals to get copies of this at this years Movement festival and was totally floored after hearing it when i got home. I just cannot get over how good these songs are, like a whirlwind just lifted me off into space. Lush deep melodies and these pulsing synthesized reggae skanks which sound so analog and warm but yet can leave you shivering in its icy surface. This is the kind of tune that makes you feel like you've been touched by god for just a few moments, like everything is perfect and nothing can go wrong. The hypnotizing elements of these tunes makes you feel like these 12 minute voyages only last a second and just when you close your eyes you have to put the needle back to the beginning. No joke folks this is as good as it gets. Just listen for yourself and you will see what i mean, by far my favorite record in 2007. Can not recommend enough!
