Dub TaylorReal Name:
Alex Krüger
Profile:
The man behind the project Dub Taylor is Alex Krüger from Berlin. Dub Taylor is his alias for very deep techhouse tracks with tons of delays. You can find certain releases on labels like United States of Mars, Force Tracks and Konfekt.
In February 2001 his long awaited debut album "Forms and Figures" was released on Raummusik. But you will not only find his productions under the name of Dub Taylor. Alex also has another project under the name Korsakow where he produces deep house. But Alex Krüger wouldn't be Alex Krüger if there wasn't yet another project he's involved in. In January 2001 the first album of the project Echobox was released on Freiraum (a sublabel of Raummusik). Echobox are Nadine Hemme, Thorsten Stahnke and guess who, Alex Krüger of course. Perfectly produced, the three of them are heading towards pop a little bit with their music. They have already proven their abilities with some live sets in and around Berlin. Sites:

Sonic PalmsProfile:
Sonic Palms is a project by 4 Viennese producers & DJs Thomas Greisl, Stephan Deutsch, Flip Capella and DJ I.Q.
Thomas Greisl and Stephan Deutsch have been the force behind a number of chart-proven dance projects in previous years, Flip Capella is the host of the highly acclaimed electro-house Radio Show “Energy Club Files” on Radio Energy Vienna and DJ I.Q., himself a successful DJ and producer, has been a regular player on technofloors across the globe. After a few cocktails, the decision was made to join forces and work together. This new formation goes by the name of “The Syndicate”. After having rocked every hot club across Austria, the guys have now set their sights on conquering the international dancefloor with their project “Sonic Palms”. In early summer ‘09 the first Sonic Palms single “On The Beach”, containing the timeless and legendary guitar riff by Chris Rea, was released. The single developed into a club and chart hit in several countries around the globe and became one of this year's summer dance anthems. During summer ‘09 Sonic Palms performed in several clubs, discotheques and on TV shows. Over the last month, Sonic Palms have additionally worked as remixers for various artists. On UK's leading dance label AATW they remixed Tina Cousins single “Sex On fire” and the ‘09 Remake of Eiffel 65's “Blue“. Both remixes have already been released and more Sonic Palms remixes will appear shortly. Meanwhile, the second Sonic Palms single is finished and will be released on Kontor Records very soon. As in the first single, this upcoming track also contains vocals by UK vocalist and performer Mike Blake. Sites:

DrexciyaProfile:
Detroit electro-techno outfit Drexciya was conceived in 1989, but first came into the public eye in 1994 with "Aquatic Invasion" - the first of a thematic series of releases. Drexciya's James Stinson and Gerald Donald remained hidden behind their alias for much of the group's existence, communicating a complex personal mythology of a "Drexciyan" race of underwater dwellers descended from pregnant slave women thrown overboard during trans-Atlantic deportation. Within this fiction, their music - which they claimed was recorded "live in the studio" rather than programmed - was imagined as a "dimensional jumphole" between their black African roots and the contemporary USA.
Sadly Stinson died suddenly on 3rd September 2002 of a heart condition. Donald continues to produce music under other names. Sites:

Carl CraigReal Name:
Carl Craig
Profile:
Born: 22 May 1969 in Detroit, USA.
Carl Craig was a key player in Detroit techno's second wave, following the futuristic lead of originators Derrick May and Juan Atkins, and eventually collaborating with May. He began recording at the turn of the 1990's, using a number of aliases to release innovative ambient, techno, breakbeat and future jazz sounds. One such alias, Innerzone Orchestra, issued "Bug In The Bass Bin" in 1992, the track largely responsible for moving drum 'n' bass away from the sounds of hardcore and ragga. He later reconvened Innerzone Orchestra as a jazz/techno combo, recruiting jazz composer/keyboardist Craig Taborn, former Sun Ra Arkestra member Francisco Mora Catlett, and Matthew Chicoine to help him record 1999's album "Programmed". Matt Chicoine, under alias Recloose, later signed for Craig's own label Planet E Communications, a peerless dance label employing the same eclectic and futuristic ethos that informs his own music. With releases under many aliases, including BFC, Psyche, Paperclip People, 69, Designer Music and Innerzone Orchestra; Carl Craig has more musical personalities than the average electronic artist. As much as his different guises can confuse though, his music is always easily recognized because whatever he does, it retains that certain Craig-ness of sound. A deep commitment to soul mixed with jazz, often including but not exclusively so, a detroit techno sound, has always been the watermark of his music. Even when Craig is destroying dance floors with such songs as the classic track "Throw" (or one of the very many versions of it!) there is always a subtleness and attention to detail that separates his music from that of the typical dance music producer.
