About Dawnbreak

Dawnbreak was formed in September 2006 and had their concert-debut on May 1st 2007. Since then they have played numerous shows, and after some changes in the line-up, Dawnbreak is now a fine tuned machine. Most of the summer and spring have been spent recording songs for our demo which is to be released in the beginning of 2008. Dawnbreak combines heavy and yet catchy riffs with a female voice, without comparison to Evanescence or Nightwish. Instead, we have a much more rock'n'roll approach to songwriting, and it's important for us to underline that we're a band and not a singer with a backing band.
Dawnbreak's sound has progressed from being straight rock'n'roll to a more heavy sound with some progressive elements too, yet they have kept the melodic aspect in both their riffs and vocal arrangements.
