No infos for now on the The official Lo Recordings web site. A tracklisting has been founded on this japanese HMV website. Can't wait for the 2nd day of october... cicerobuck wrote:
Jon, Lo's boss is a good friend, and he tracked down the Black Devil french guy and had him do new tracks and check his libary of unreleased tracks, so I guess it's a little bit of both. I'll ask him if you want...

cicerobuck Yeah, i love to have more info about it! Please ask him!
I know Bernard Fevre is involved this time but what happen to Jacky Giordano? is he still alive? Does somebody know? A lot of Jacky Giordano's (funky) library output should be re-released. great stuff! cicerobuck wrote:
Only new music, recorded in the past two years I believe, using Synths and Digital Performer. berbI know Bernard Fevre is involved this time but what happen to Jacky Giordano? is he still alive? Does somebody know? The 61 years old retired Fevre did everything on this one. Actually, on the early BDD music, Jacky only helped with the vocals and nothing else, as Bernard couldn't speak english for shit! He didn't take any part in the music making. Just listened to the tracks, and it's amazing. There also are Dub versions recorded by Fevre himslef of all six tracks, but no decision on what to do with those yet. Those are even better than the original versions. berb wrote:
Wow! dub versions! and i still have listen to dodgy snippets from bol.com :(

btw, Black Devil Disco Club was great a couple of weeks ago! Bernard Fevre (skinny with glasses, still looking young) seem to be very surprised that people applauded him and his sidekick (Fevre had somebody extra on stage helping him out, both on Apple laptops). The music was good although nearly every track was based on the "Timing, forget the timing" beats and vocals. Since "Timing" is a superb track i'm not complaining! No clue who this extra person was on stage but both him and Fevre cleary had fun on stage. Same goes for ogger 028 (we met briefly), he danced his ass off during this Black Devil set.
Good fun but a bit strange this faceless disco act got a face for me that night. More of this please. iueke wrote:

Hehe, and I was not the only one! All the peoples around were very receptive to the Black Devil's songs. It was definitely the highlight of the REMF festival. Nice also to meet berb, iueke and monsieur Fevre. He told me that jacky was a thief, and then 1 week later, Giordano makes the front page news... @ iueke: have fun in London berb wrote:

@ 028 did you ask Bernard Fevre what he did in the meantime, those 28 years? Curious about that...
btw, nice to meet you iueke. have fun in London! 028 wrote:
It's called "28 after" because the 2nd Black Devil album has been released 28 years after the 1rst one (1978).
