Frankfurt, Germany (update)

well you surely know about the 90 days have passed rule not being able to post to existing topics, thats why this is an update to the existing topic: http://www.discogs.com/groups/topic/99545. feel free to kill this new topic and just add the info to the existing old one, thanks.

due to the general situation of poor vinyl sales two major vinyl recordstores by the names of "provinyl" (http://www.provinyl.de - all electronic genres and hiphop) and "vinylkingz" (http://www.vinylkingz.de - primarily hiphop and other genres) have consolidated in frankfurt. "provinyl" has stayed in its old location and it seems the entire "vinylkingz" stock has been brought in to fill up the shelves. In return "provinyl" (with no former online webshop) has added their stock to the already existing webshop from "vinylkingz". it can be reached by both vinyl shop urls.

while "delirium" (http://www.delirium.de) is still upholding their "techno and house only" sales strategy, "freebase records" (http://www.freebase-records.com) has undergone some major changes lately. first they had decided to discontinue offering hiphop. so after completely shutting down their hiphop/dnb basement they had moved the remaining dnb vinyl in the rearmost corner of the first floor. so now its dnb's turn to disappear - they are currently selling off the last vinyl dnb stock (10/2007) focusing on techno and house in the future.
