What software do you use?mech1 wrote:
To get the forum going, what software apps do you use for graphic design? I'm using some pretty old apps as I haven't had time to upgrade. I'm using Adobe Illustrator 10 and Photoshop 7 as my main tools. I'm currently looking at investing in a Wacom Tablet. what about you?

I use Illustrator CS2. Don't really feel a need to upgrade to CS3.

I use paint.net as my photo editor. I mainly stick to vector type art, so I don't need a full featured photo editor. I have not gotten a wacom, partly because by using the mouse as my main tool, I'm able to retain a lo-fi minimalistic feel. Which i quite like. mech1 wrote:
you ever check out http://vectormagic.com/ ? it's pretty useful if you want to convert bitmap images into vector format.

I'm using Adobe CS2. But the app that I really miss is Macromedia's FreeHand (RIP). The multiple pages (in different sizes if wanted) in one document is criminally missing from Illustrator....
