I'm going to do the ISIGTUTEOT site as a group of pages accessible via the Dilation site. This can be its temporary home until we sort something more permanent (again - lol).

If anyone has anything they would like added to the ISIGTUTEOT pages send me it and I can include it - each artist will get their own page but I will only be adding these pages as and when I get info from the artist - fuck the situation we had last time with shitloads of blank artist profile. Each profile page will include a bio, discography, some freebies (mp3s or whatever), external links (own website/myspaz etc) and an info section (upcoming releases/gigs or whatever really).

Initially I will just be updating the artist profiles myself - details and attachments etc can just be emailed to me via Contact Form and I will update the form. Eventually (and we all know what 'eventually' usually means!) we will have more of a "wiki" type affair where users can update their own shit.

As it happens I am going to buy a drohnwerks domain and get a more pro looking website underway once payday rolls around so will get an artist profile underway...

I think you are absolutely right about not having blank-ish artist profiles - it should be artist driven so no info rec'd = no info uploaded.

From what I have heard setting up a wiki site is supposed to be relatively straight-forward, but I have fuck all experience of that.

Would it be an idea to club together and buy a domain, rather than the money (generously) coming from your pocket this time - the site doesn't need any fancy hosting (freehostia works fine for me, the only downside is no flash, videos or music, but they could all be hosted on paid accounts)

Busy as fuck at the moment though - Chinese Whispers artwork to think about, a compilation to , err, compile, another one to sub a track for, and a couple of collabs to get underway in the next month (oh and work on the "secret project" which is eating up fucking masses of time ATM)

re: wiki - there are plenty of free "blog" type applications nowadays we could easily integrate into the site which would allow members to sign in and update their shite. Need to get the fundamentals done first though.
