I had some good one today. with asparagus (white, but green is better here), roasted(?) pignolias, garlic, parmesan, basil & a twist of lemon. another favourite of mine is sooo simple: sieved tomatoes (take any brand you experienced to taste yummy), 2 half onions, chili. simmer it until it thickens, at least 30 minutes. put a small pan with a good piece of butter on the cooker and wait until the butter gets brown. pour it into the sauce when it's ready. eat! what are your favourite recipes? ringorider wrote:

Did a quick one the other that turned out nicely: saute chopped sage and crushed garlic in oil for four minutes, add cream, turn the stove off, pour on pasta (short -- I used penne), top with lots of grated cheese. I put oven-cooked fish extra, it added a nice touch.

I`m also a pasta fan. It`s cheap, quick and easy to cook, it`s filling and it`s quite versatile. Both adults and kids enjoy pasta and some students eat nothing but pasta for months on end. I am prepared to leave the cricket a bit earlier so we can have a bit more time to do stuff, and also if it is raining then I will leave very early anyway LOL! Also I need a decent B&B as I am not staying in a hotel on my own. Thanks for the offer strawbs. Right... My mate from London was going out with his mrs, but she is in Spain that weekend so we are going to the cricket which saves me selling the spare ticket, and since his lady is away I can crash at his for two nights. It is his birthday and who I was going out with anyway, but I just got off the phone and we are going for a meal at some mad place in Soho where the toilets are made of glass? Then saturday for the cricket and he is off to the Theatre afterwards, I was invited but declined so I can meet up with some oggers if you still fancy it? Should be out of the cricket by 5pm as we will leave early. So the rest is up to you lot. Strawberry_Shortcake wrote:

Got to love Crazy Bear, even if only for it's Crazy Toilets! Check out the toilets, they are worth seeing! Nuff said great toilets those - best part of the place LOL! They must be good when customers review them more than the food. Never have I been so excited about visiting a place for its toilets. truly-madly wrote:
I've been there, it isn't in Soho really. When you walk into the gents it's all mirrored small tiles and the door has no handle or indication of where it is on the inside. So when you've finished your wee it's a case of randomly pushing the walls to find the door. Nice place as it goes. 'Fusion' not Thai though. This isn't Brixham Lango.
