How much do I love this one? I've bought it 4 times! The first version came out in two seperate cases with no cover/playlist (darth & luke on the tapes with the pure acid & biohazard logos). Then it got re-released in a single double-wide case with a cover (this time with luke & han on one tape and boba & darth on the other)...but still no playlist. Gave my first copy away to buy this one. Loaned out the new copy....only to have it venture out of state. Soooooo, bought it again. Then bought it again when it came out on CD....still no playlist (he used the cover from the double tape set as an insert...doh).

edit: oh yeah, on the first version the tapes were listed as "The Force" & "The Dark Side". On later versions, they were both listed as "The Force". And yes, one tape was white and the other was black.

For noise reduction i've used adobe audition. you sample a portion of the tape without the music and then filter it out throughout the mix. i usually go with a light filter, if you filter too much it starts taking out of the music itself.
