Hangover Food

After a quick duvet dance with Pamela Handerson, I usually chuck whatever I happen to have in the fridge into some kind of omelet. Junk food seems to slide down nicely too.

light and nutritious food - stay away from fat. bananas and yogurt work for me, as well as chicken soup like sub.f mentionned

Yeah, I'm a big proponent of taking in plenty of salt to absorb water, which is why I go for the soups and ramen. But I'm sort of a "special case" because my body has trouble absorbing the water I drink anyway.

I've found that black tea calms an upset stomach amazingly. There have been times I was too queasy all day long to eat even just a little chicken soup, but then after making myself just one cup of tea I magically developed a potent appetite and was able to eat as much as I wanted.

Also spicy food does WONDERS for me. Spicy homemade chicken curry or any kind of tomato-based spicy food, like Mexican salsa or a green sauce, are preferences. Tortilla soup (which has chicken stock as the base) is the ultimate hangover food.

Definitely.

Eggs, bacon, potato scallops, hamburger, pepperoni pizza, samosa, pretzel, etc., are good too.

Yesterday I had salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. Cheap and easy soul food does a destroyed body good.

my parents weren't really into it as the "cheap" part never caught them but it's always been a fav of mine. So it's been one of those things that i've been finally able to enjoy.

Think i'll have to go with ramen on this one. Extra beef or chicken stock and veges and make it slightly spicy......damn, might have to make it for dinner.....still hungover after a weekend long housewarming/b-day/bbq/mix session.
