Did you make it to see alpha 606? Looked good but when i read the lineup details i thought it was strange he was only playing for an hour. Must be the norm but i'd sooner see fewer artist play longer sets. Same goes for Bloc! neurp wrote:

listening for the 3rd time. was hoping it'd grow on me but it's not. my least favorite release under his own name. rile3e wrote:
Only danger is buying more records!:D I really needed a bigger place! :O It's taken 3 days to move my tunes by myself. From a flat 3 up to the new one across the street which is 4up. Moving 100 at a time. rile3e wrote:

Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest I've listened to this about 150 times in the last week. Put it on repeat at bedtime. I think it's probably music for girls though. AFXFANTASAY wrote:

how is that one? been wanting to get that but haven't had a chance to hear it yet. Traxx (4) - Mysterio / Juz Jak, real eager for his new album, shouldn't take much longer I guess. Zubeldia edited this message 3 months ago. neurp wrote:
Zubeldianeurp Ceephax Acid Crew / Acid Quiff - Wild Westie / Romantic Gestures how is that one? been wanting to get that but haven't had a chance to hear it yet. i like it, but it depend if you like ceephax doing daft stuff some nice analog acid and craziness. the acid quiff side is good too, it has about 4 tracks all mixed into one side. well, I really like his Drive Time LP reissue, which is quite experimental. and if I remember correctly I like his stuff on Rephlex as well (mostly part 2 though).

no, definitely not. when I play out, it is usually students (some german, american, belgian and dutch students. and perhaps a few frenchies who got lost..) last time I played out (same venue) I opened with the long A side of that same record. after two minutes into the track some german dude comes over and asks me if I don't have any "funky house" with me, where they can dance to... my reply: "wait two more minutes, it's going to get quite funky in a minute...". three minutes later they left. that's the kind of crowd I generally play for, hehe.. guess I'm going to scare them shitless with that track. Various - The Owl In Daylight EP that A side really does the trick for me, that sub-bass is incredible. B side? mwah.. Zubeldia edited this message 3 months ago. neurp wrote:

I-f - Lost Tracks For Lost Minds Interr-Ference - Lost Minds # 2 think it'll be nr 002 and 003 out of the twelve. I'll play the B2 from 002 and the A2 and B from 003. that track B on 003 (B2 on acid planet 4) mixes lovely with the A side from the blue TNT 12" ;-) Zubeldia edited this message 3 months ago.
