nothing interesting to me except two tracks 1. "Mirage" 2. "The Gate To The Past" Btw, imo the tracks are expensive For 1 track at 320kbps asks 2.04 euros :S too bad, no WAV's :/ Probably i'll buy that "Mirage" track though..the part of the sample between 01:12->01:59 drives me crazy :O Robostyx edited this message 5 months ago. Maybe someone could explain me why digital releases are as expensive as physical. IMO should be much cheaper. No pressing costs, no shipping costs, no distributor costs....

Gizmex: it is an industry-wide failure as far as I am concerned. No wonder people go through illicit channels to procure their music.

Number of labels & artists is still growing. Number of people buying music is the same, or lower (people have lot of other things to spend money, global recession, blah blah) anyway I think it's time to think about consolidation in the underground music industry & lower the prices.

It's the"gate to the past" album but, 13.11 euros for a digital download the entire album?? And unfortunately that not affects only Har-el's music there.. everything is expensive i just don't get it my last CD purchase was "VA Suncokreti" a proper CD with art work, AND with shipping cost including, the total price was 13.40 euros and now if we want to have this album we have to pay the same price just for 9 WAVs .. whatever... Any sane music-lover naturally would seek a work-around to this (piracy). The music business is digging its own grave. inexpressible wrote:

GizmexMaybe someone could explain me why digital releases are as expensive as physical. IMO should be much cheaper. No pressing costs, no shipping costs, no distributor costs.... it's greed, pure and simple. these "companies" (really, just a few guys in an apartment most of the time) see the opportunity to profit during a time of uncertainty when it comes to the distribution platform. WAVs are instant, which satisfies those with short patience (a growing trend in consumers these days). they can download them and spin them in a set in a matter of minutes versus waiting for a physical CD or record to arrive in the post. the convenience factor is what these people are relying on, what their entire business model is relying on. it's a legitimate view, considering how many people condense their music collections onto computers and portable media devices, rather than physically picking an album from the shelf, turning on equipment, cue'ing up the CD or vinyl, then repeat for the next album... for me, that is part of the fun of listening to music, but for most, that is a thing of the past as convenience wins out over all else. anyways, complete rip off if you ask me, and yes this is a huge reason why p2p is still so active today. until the new digital distribution platform is refined in such a way that artists profit and the consumers do not go out of pocket nearly as much, then you will see that p2p activity stay very busy.
