This probably won't mean much to the technoheads here but this is probably the most anticipated dubstep tune ever and has finally got a release;

I'm sold on the stuff. Had my doubts but not any more.

Watch yourself, even mention the word dubstep and the grumpy old men come out in force.

Also the youtube video even in HQ seems to be missing most of the bass which is.. unfortunate :p

*EDIT*
Sorry about that. I lost the powers of discussion then and tried to fight with music. Maybee this stuff is too much for me after all. Downright thuggery. I need to chill out...

That's new to me. I thought you said you don't follow dubstep? Nice tune. A lot more kind of considered than the wobblers...

I really like this Dubstep track. The producer has taken a sample from Radio Head`s Pyramid Song and created an orginal piece of music that is quite beautiful. It sounds like a cross between a Cocteau Twins instrumental and Ry Cooder.

ftw? technoheads... you people should start listening to real dub instead of that surrogate muzak you call dubstep... amazed that this whole scene did not find the greater dub yet. i'm really amazed.

Why can't I like both? I suggest technoheads check out 2562 for something that combines the best of both worlds.

I always find it amusing when someone brings up "real dub" in a dubstep thread as if they're giving a lesson.
While we're at it, why don't we listen to real music made with real instruments instead of this surrogate muzak you call techno.
I know it's way early, but this is early contender for record of the year for me:

I like to dip me toe in the dudstep genre now and then as there are some fucking amazing records out there.
Anstam has made some good records with Anstam - Cree being a massive fave of mine.
This new one on Mordant is well worth checkin out Mordant Music - The Tower
"Dismal Snide" represents the slow dubstep i like while at the other end of the scale, "Smouldering Polaroid" will rock the socks off anyone who appreciates good music. Powerful shit!
Just like with any genre, you'll have to wade through a whole heap of bob to find the good stuff

Regarless of if this might be a good or bad thing this dubstep artist made this;

and I can't really tell the differance between it and 'real' dub reggie.
