Why Amazon Should Buy eBay http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/...zon-should-buy-ebay/ little_alien wrote:
Yeah and we'll get PayPal integration in the marketplace checkout process :D I do feel a bit sad for all the employees of eBay though as they are going to loose their job because they are going to be replaced by 2 programmers, a community manager and a marketplace manager. TEKNONUTTER wrote:

LOL. Indeed. Can't help but visialise some sort of IT geek's late 80s revival take on a familiar US warehouse band :P tom wrote:

i noticed how people kicked off at the 1% increase that discogs made not so long ago. i think it would be a disaster IF it happens imo cypherism wrote:

No more scratched to death "Mint" records, at least with ebay there is a strike system not just feedback where sellers wait for their feedback first And recs are cheaper on t' bay cypherism edited this message 5 months ago. spiraltribeliverpool wrote:
Silly comment. All depends what you're after. People buy on Discogs cos it's specialised in musical rarities as where Ebay is clearly not unless your collection is full of Positiva tunes for 99p. Record traders on Ebay can also advertise records as MINT and sell you a copy handled with sandpaper. iuval wrote:

M: Never been played!* NM: I only played it about 70 times. VG+: The van wasn't going *very* fast when I dropped it out of the window. VG: Less than 5 gouges. G+: May be melted slightly, otherwise fine. G: Record in less than 10 pieces. *Doesn't preclude being shaped like a Pringle. |
