He's old skool and delights in the hunt. If you are in Edmonton then obviously you should hit me up too. I'll show ya the good stores and flea markets. Amon Tobin bought $300 worth of Jazz, Latin, World and Dance from him when he was here.

Alberta's main cities (Edmonton and Calgary) have some really good shops. Recordland in Calgary is the mecca. It is almost as large as Amoeba but you have to dig because half the shop isnt in order at all. Apparently Coldcut once bought $12000 worth of records there and had them shipped back to England. It is picked over pretty hard now as opposed to ten years ago but there are boatloads of new stuff there everyday. I am going to have to make a Western Canadian record store post in the International guide one of these days.
