Nice choice to immerse yourself first thing in the morning! Are you venturing into new territories? gal_Nice choice to immerse yourself first thing in the morning! Are you venturing into new territories? No, not really. First of all, FSOL stuff (like this album) IMO is related with Psychedelic trance. Second, occasionally I listen to something different, like an ORB album, System 7, some Plastikman album, some drum&bass, some breaks, and Britney Spears**. That's it. I remember this CD for sale here in the long defunct Virgin here, and also remember other High Society releases. I just remember the cover after seeing them on discogs - had never tried them in the shop :( Right now the temperature must be 35, and my nerves higher. So I try freeing them typing. Listening Oforia's Delirious before I go for a swim.... **joke obviously Josephschembri wrote:

as written in the chronicles of Raja Ram ... a lot of the 'old days' artists were in Goa and played there music (new beat, ebm, and cutted techno tracks) - so it's a definition about 'Goa' itself - sure you are right when you define Goa with the releases of the first Dragonfly tracks in 1993 - but when a track is created by the same artists as 1993 with the same melodies and so on ... i define it for me as Goa track. When you listen to these famous videos/cassettes from the early 90s you have also some 'earlier than 1993' tracks on it - mixed together with the earliest Goa tracks. so i tried to describe the style of this track - and this is my opinion. Each person has a different definition of sounds - Free As We Are. The played in Goa sound since years and did not care about definition, so i guess the definition of Goa Trance was created because of the sounds they played there. The problem was, there were no typical labels in the early nineties (such as Dragonfly in 1993). I guess that some tracks which were published in 1993 were created 1991/92 - so i don't see it that narrow. namaste! gal_ wrote:
So what's the significance of the title? Tracklist looks good. Recommended? Josephschembri wrote:
TBH - I rate it "just" 3/5. Nothing essential IMO. But has excellent sound/mastering. Don't like the cover. As for the title ask the compiler maybe, anenburg :0) Maybe they meant a breath of fresh air ? Can't fit the tomato in though.

WIZZY NOISE - Renaissance (Harmonia Records) 9 really beautiful psy trance tracks. this is real busting fat production with harmonic melodies!!!!! Really intelligent music! Highest recommendation - for me the psy album of this year (til now, maybe there will come another diamond...) Josephschembri wrote:
