He hasn't.
That's exactly the failure of the Discogs Capitalization Guidelines…

"Komm fliege mit mir" means: "Come on and fly with me" (i.e. flying together)
"Komm Fliege Mit Mir" can also mean: "Come with me, you fly" (i.e. the insect)

The capitalization causes incorrect information being submitted.
It simply doesn't work for some languages.

If it's supposed to mean that, it would be very bad German (syntax, missing commas!).

I agree fallguy, trying to read the 'insect' meaning from the example sentence is stretching things. In any case, this isn't special for German;

Ode to moss - 'moss' is a plant
Ode To Moss - 'Moss' is a placename or a plant.

The exact meaning of titles has to be interpreted in any case, maybe the writer made a play on words or?

On the other hand...

http://www.discogs.com/Roy-Orb...t-Live/master/168981
Is the artist not 'Roy Orbison And Friends'? Then RO and the other artists involved in this release are *in the band* RO + F? Mind you it looks like a one-off collaboration so I'm not sure really :~/

"Wenn hinter Fliegen Fliegen fliegen, fliegen Fliegen Fliegen nach."
"When behind flies are flies flying, then there are flying flies after flies." (or something in that sense…)

Without precise capitalization this sentence doesn't make much sense:
"Wenn Hinter Fliegen Fliegen Fliegen, Fliegen Fliegen Fliegen Nach."
It just doesn't work, it's non-sense.

Now they've made it "And Friends - Oh Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison... Still doesn't seem right but I don't know enough to say more...

All I can see in the guidelines that seems relevant is: "2.6.3. Artist collaborations which are one-off recordings should be listed as separate artists" http://www.discogs.com/help/su...-release-artist.html

So surely use the Join Artist Field [Roy Orbison] [And] [Friends]? Any help please?

In my opinion, only if you would put "Friends" as an ANV of Unknown Artist or some other generic catch-all artist like that.

(As a side note: anyone knows if there is a list with all available catch-all artists somewhere?)

Perhaps yet another proof that the submission form desperately needs a conceptual overhaul. Despite most of us "getting it" in the meantime, some parts of the form are far from being intuitive to use - and hard to explain to newbies or other somewhat "impaired" users (no offence to anyone, but I don't know how else to call it, since we can't possibly know what's actually happening on each user's end of the line…)

Yep he is correcting, but he's just correcting one bit and then flying off to make another incorrect sub. Still hasn't grasped the ANV routine properly. I'm now currently pointing out to him that his originally Artist's entries- which he said were true to the release- are now different because he's taking the easy route to get a link result.

This one's a bit like training a puppy in an expensively-furnished apartment. You train him not to piss in one place, so he dutifully pisses somewhere else. The social graces of the environment are the bits he doesn't yet comprehend.
