That's exactly the failure of the Discogs Capitalization Guidelines… "Komm fliege mit mir" means: "Come on and fly with me" (i.e. flying together) "Komm Fliege Mit Mir" can also mean: "Come with me, you fly" (i.e. the insect) The capitalization causes incorrect information being submitted. It simply doesn't work for some languages. loukash edited this message 3 months ago. fallguy wrote:

In any case, this isn't special for German; Ode to moss - 'moss' is a plant Ode To Moss - 'Moss' is a placename or a plant. The exact meaning of titles has to be interpreted in any case, maybe the writer made a play on words or? double-happiness wrote:

http://www.discogs.com/Roy-Orb...ream/release/1841732 Is 'Roy Orbison And Friends' a legit ANV? Seems wrong to me... On the other hand... http://www.discogs.com/Roy-Orb...t-Live/master/168981 Is the artist not 'Roy Orbison And Friends'? Then RO and the other artists involved in this release are *in the band* RO + F? Mind you it looks like a one-off collaboration so I'm not sure really :~/ loukash wrote:

Now they've made it "And Friends - Oh Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison... Still doesn't seem right but I don't know enough to say more... All I can see in the guidelines that seems relevant is: "2.6.3. Artist collaborations which are one-off recordings should be listed as separate artists" http://www.discogs.com/help/su...-release-artist.html So surely use the Join Artist Field [Roy Orbison] [And] [Friends]? Any help please? loukash wrote:
In my opinion, only if you would put "Friends" as an ANV of Unknown Artist or some other generic catch-all artist like that. (As a side note: anyone knows if there is a list with all available catch-all artists somewhere?) DriesBosma wrote:
