Question: What qualifies or disqualifies the validity of a Label?

Specific label in question http://www.discogs.com/label/Total+Vomit+Records
Everything on it seems to be "home recorded" CDr and Cassette Tape, often in VERY limited quantity.
One item was removed this weekend for being an invalid release, ie a Single-Sided Cassette + Only 1 copy made.
A second item that consists of 3 [sole copy] cassette tapes is currently up for removal.
These two 'one off' items were submitted as actually being ON the label.
Does this make or should this make a difference to their validity for this or any other label?
If they had been submitted as Promo would that make any difference?

When does a Bedroom or Garage project calling itself a label actually qualify?
When a business license is obtained or is that necessary for this data base?
Are there posted guidelines about this that I just haven't found yet?

edit: The second item was just removed.

I heard that in his early days MC Hammer was selling out of his car's trunk.
As for "artwork", I think it's safe to say that any one of us could come up with something decent.

I remember from some previous threads that "bedroom" mixes and mix-tapes, etc don't qualify.
But where is the line? Too wide and too gray to define?

And again, if some of the recently removed items had been listed as Promo would that make any difference in status?

My question still is: When does a lot of "bedroom" stuff qualify as a label for this site standards?
Is there any standard other than getting at least 1 other person to say so?

This stems from the fact that Discogs was clearly not designed for accommodating classical releases. Both solutions could be defended. It would be nice to have clear guideline for this kind of classical releases.

I agree with the choice between the two, with 'as on release' as preference.

Some minor updates could fix the 'classical' difficulties: All artist showed on releases on artist page, a more advanced search engine (search a certain string limited to a certain credit role of choice), a way to index composer's works and link them to tracks,..., well, yea..., maybe a major update...
