Counterfeits Vs Bootlegsmusicmann1 wrote:
At the moment I think the site is a little messy, mixing these releases. IMHO it would be better if counterfeits were under the same master release as the officials but being clearly labelled as a pirate or counterfeit.

It would really be much nicer to have all bootlegs of a band neatly together without pirated releases clogging them up and also a choice of which type of releases you are interested in would be good, say you want bootlegs, you click on a link or compilations that the band appears on, you click on a link. Personally I don't care for an artist's page being clogged up with soundtracks and compilations that only one song by that band appears on. musicmann1 edited this message about 1 month ago. musicmann1 wrote:
sorry, just realised this is in the wrong forum. If it can be moved by a mod, that would be appreciated

yeah would be nice to have the 'appears on'/'tracks appear on' sections with a show/hide button. Especially on the occasions when you look to find all items for sale by a band and all you get is compilations, in those cases everything for sale by that band should show first and the compilations come at the end of the list.

There are already, but they will appear separately on the artist page at the bottom, in the Unofficial section. I'd rather not see an unofficial section. It would be much neater if bootlegs had their own section and counterfeits/ pirates were down the bottom of the list of the officials in their master releases. I would prefer to see compilation albums that the band had a song on listed down the bottom of the page with a drop down window that you could press on if you wanted to see them. I personally don't. As the site grows it will be alot messier with all these releases on the artists's page
