Why Sign Up For A Discogs Account?

A Discogs Account will let you:

Creating An Account

  1. Click the "Sign Up" link.
  2. You will need to choose a username, password, and enter your email address. You email address is required for verification purposes.
  3. Click the "Create Account" button.
  4. We will send a confirmation email to your address. The confirmation email contains a URL which you must click to activate your account. You cannot log in until you have clicked this URL.
  5. Your account is now active.

If you can't click on the verification URL in your email client, please follow these steps:

1. Highlight the whole address using your mouse...
2. Then right click on the mouse.
3. Select copy
4. Open another browser window
5. Click on the box which has http:// . (the address field)
6. Clear everything in that box.
7. Right click on the now-empty box
8. Choose paste
9. Press enter

Logging In

Click the "Log In" link. It is located in the upper right corner of the page. Enter your username and password, then click "Log In". NOTE: passwords are cAsE sEnSiTiVe.

If you would like to remain logged in, even after you close your browser, be sure to check the box labeled "Remember Me" before you click Log In.

If you have forgotten your password click the "Forgot Password" link. This form will send your password to the email address associated with your account.

NOTE: your browser must have cookies enabled in order to log in. If you get an error when logging in please make sure that cookies are enabled.

Changing Your Password, Address, Email, And Other Settings

Go to settings, all the options for changing everything to do with your account is located there.

Changing Your Username

Sorry, we do not change usernames.

Closing Your Account

If you would like to close your Discogs account please use this form. By closing your account you will lose all of your account data and preferences. This operation is not recoverable, so please use with caution!
