I never understood what was so good about the Creamer & Stephane K remix, I always thought it was dull as dishwater in every way. In my 4 years since the track's release working at the same club at least 3 nights a week, I never played it once - it was all about the Riva Remix which always packed the floor regardless of how late or early it was. Maybe cause it was the first one I heard - I'll never forget when my buddy came in after a trip to Europe in late 2001 & brought that record into the booth, he was like "here's a gift, play it often". It was also a reasonable 134 BPM which made it suitable to mix into most anything. Late at night I would pull out the Paul Van Dyk or AVB mixes which worked just as well.

If i could pick one record to describe armin van buuren's work, this would by far be the one. forget about the the radio edit, there is too much passion in this version it cannot reach it's climax until 6:15... and when it does, it's an epic.
melodic, ever growing soundscapes, soft and harsh simultaneously. i have never been able to listen this mix without shivers. armin's masterpiece, as well as my favourite mix of Rapture.

It should be noted that the labelling on the vinyl says 33rpm for both side A and AA, while they are actually to be played back at 45rpm. This 2007 remake of the famous classic rapture is quite okay, while the Rapture Starkillers Dirty Girl Remix is a bit lower in quality than the other side.

It has a clear housy-flair in contrast to the initial trance-y touch of the original version by iio - rapture.

This is the best collection of rmxs you could ever find of this (already) classic track. It doesn't only contain the otherwise unavailable on cd Deep Dish remix, but it also has the newer Riva, Aloud and "ambient" remixes.
If you happen to still find it somewhere, grab it fast!

My favourite remix of this smash hit. This fantastic and melodic trance track is, also, one of my favourite Armin's works. Nadia Ali's voice sounds perfectly on this remix, she would be a great Trance singer.

Rare single release of "Rapture" but nothing is special about it. Lacking the Armin Van Buuren remix even though it was played alot at the time of the release, this is certainly not special.
