One of a very refined breed indeed of record labels that understood the fine balance between hardcore Techno, titanium steel mental Raves and utter sheer maggoty shit. They successfully stayed well away from the beckoning sewage drain that claimed so many other once proud Industrial Strength dance machines, remaining on the side of sheer Industrial brilliance right up until the end.

It stands alongside early Praxis, pre IDM septic tank Rephlex, Caustic Visions along with a few other rare underground industrial vinyl war weapons as milestones of an almost forgotten history of the UK Rave scene when it was all about the Techno and the Techno could go hard. Very hard. And mental. Incredibly mental. So hard that sound could shatter the doors of perception. So mental that it could destroy fear and loathing.

This wasn't bat country any more, it was a post apocalyptic wasteland of hulking war machines and shattered Dreadnaughts playing host to delinquent tribes of punk ravers looking for kicks. There were no roided up skinhead Dutch lube heads with record boxes of scatological chipmunk kid's records sucking on an amphetamine laced lollypop anywhere to be seen.

All we saw was the future. And it looked bright. It is a future in which I still choose to believe. So could you.
