Six6 Records is a brilliant British label most known for the release of the "Renaissance" c.d. compilations. "Renaissance" is a very popular moving party that travels from club to club in Great Britain. There are four compilations out to date, each containing three c.d.s. These come highly recommended.
Inner City, the popular late eighties house innovators are at home on this label. "Do Me Right" was the most recent release, which is on ZYX domestically. Disco has been remixed and relived courtesy of this import label. Madagascar's self entitled theme grew great attention with 96 tribal remixes last year. Diva of discodom, Lolitta Holloway has had several remixes of "I Will Survive" entitled "I Survived" on six6. "Bells of New York," the massive anthem from Slo Moshun was six6's biggest release in the summer of 94. It is very hard to find today.
Six6 is another import label that delivers. "Renaissance" sets the pace for the months to come. The well worth it compilations will see many tracks released that were first heard at the party & on the c.d.
