Alphacut Records was founded by
LXC in 2002 in Leipzig (Germany) as a Drum'n'Bass label with a strict whitelabel philosophy, featuring up and coming artists from all over Europe. Until today the imprint is being transformed into a platform for new kinds of energetic uptempo breakbeat tunes, conceiving and conducting a wide range of electronic music with a focus on broken beats, uncompromising sounds, experimental and informal innovations and a healthy bit of rough dancefloor attitude.
Alphacut Records is releasing more or less dancefloor compatible experimental Drum'n'Bass 12" artist split singles. Mainly set up for DJs and collectors, reflecting in features like locked grooves, handnumbered limitations and coloured vinyl.
Besides that, Alphacute is a sublabel for 7" split releases with affiliated labels, showing the background scene beyond the usual Drum'n'Bass Business, dealing with experimental electronics of all kinds imaginable.
