American Recording Company was a boutique label set up by Columbia Records for Maurice White, the mastermind behind Earth, Wind, and Fire. ARC co-released all of that group’s recordings from the time it was set up until the mid-1980s, when EWF stopped recording.

Note: Do not confuse this label with Rick Rubin’s American Recordings.
