AuraQuake is the new trance label, based in San Francisco and Portugal, dedicated to releasing cutting edge psychedelic music. It's home to Penta, a trance project of Nikita Tselovalnikov, founder and producer of the label. Catia Leitao, also a founder, is dealing with the management side of the operation, as well as booking for Penta.

The idea for the name and direction of the label was born on December 12, 2004, during Penta's tour of Brazil. The name AuraQuake suggests the mind state evoked by the labels's music. The "corporate" colors come from two Brazilian fruits: acai and acerola, very popular with the label's founders.

There will be given no preference to any sub genres of psytrance as long as the music is interesting and psychedelic.
