Reviews & Discussion

I met S-Max of Boogizm on a party in Rotterdam in the end of 2006 and had a chat with him. He pointed me towards their website, and told me he and Fym had a label. I didn't think much of it, which only points out how modest they really are.
The label is worth 1000 and ever since I heard a few mp3's I've been searching hell & earth for these records.

This fact strongly gives me the feeling they use the principle I am running after with records: Press 500 or 1000 at once, never repress and just see how much you can sell for the fun of it.

Conclusion: If you like boogizm as much as I do, make sure you buy as much of them as you can as fast as possible. These discs will be collectors items...

What a solid label!? Every release is a CLASSIC! If you dig Tobias Lorsbach styled bleepy minimal techno combined w/ gnarly wonky basslines you'll go bonkers for Boogizm. It really just begs the question, "Where the hell is the Keinzweiter release!?" Wouldn't it only make sense?

Very funky. The basslines are so sick on some of Fym's tracks. This is the most innovative stuff Kompakt is (somewhat) releasing right now. Very promising sub-label!

The Boogizm label was one of my favourite labels of last year. Always pushing the envelope as far as sounds and production whilst never losing sight of that all important groove. Every release is essential.

a sub-label of kompakt. this is a fairly new label that is putting out really amazing records. fym and s-max are on some other shit. these guys are keeping the underground alive and fresh. sick basslines. quirky blips. rediculous patterns. this is some serious funked out techno. really nice experimental stuff as well. looking forward to the future of this label!
